Getting Started

Peppy is a peptide research and business platform. The core of the product — the peptide database and the AI research assistant — is free to use after you create an account. You can start from the Sign Up Free button in the top navigation.

To create an account, provide your email address and a password on the sign-up page. After submitting, you'll receive a confirmation email; clicking the link verifies your address and activates the account. Once confirmed, use Sign In to access the platform.

After signing in you can browse the peptide database, ask the AI assistant questions, save peptides for later, and — if you're building a business — explore the Services in the top navigation.

Using the Peptide Database

The database is a structured, searchable catalog of peptides. Use the search bar to find a peptide by name or full name, and use the category filters to narrow the list to a research grouping — for example tissue repair, growth hormone secretagogues, metabolic, cognitive, or longevity.

Selecting a peptide opens its detail view, which presents the record's structured fields: identity (name, full name, sequence), chemistry (molecular formula, molecular weight, CAS number), mechanism of action, administration routes, dosage information, benefits, clinical trial status, related publications, and safety profile. Each field is described in the Data Dictionary below.

All database content is provided for research and educational purposes. It is not medical advice, and the presence of a peptide in the catalog is not an endorsement of its use.

The AI Research Assistant

The AI Research Assistant is a chat interface for asking natural-language questions about peptides — for example, "What is BPC-157 studied for?" or "Compare the administration routes of ipamorelin and CJC-1295." You type a question and the assistant responds in plain language.

The assistant is grounded in Peppy's peptide database. Rather than answering purely from open-ended generation, it draws on the structured records in the catalog so that its answers stay anchored to the data the platform actually contains. This reduces, but does not eliminate, the risk of incorrect information.

The assistant is a research tool only. It does not provide medical advice, diagnoses, dosing recommendations for humans, or treatment plans. Always verify important information against primary sources such as the publications linked in each record, and consult a qualified professional for any health decision.

Saved Items

When you are signed in, you can save any peptide to your personal list using the bookmark/save control on its detail page. Saved Items act as a shortlist, letting you quickly return to the peptides you're researching without searching for them each time.

Your saved list is tied to your account, so it follows you across sessions and devices once you sign in. You can remove a peptide from the list at any time using the same control.

Account & Authentication

Authentication on Peppy is powered by Supabase Auth, a secure, industry-standard identity service. Your password is never stored in plain text.

Sign up: create an account on the sign-up page with your email and a password. Email confirmation: a verification email is sent to the address you provide; clicking its link confirms your account. If you don't see it, check your spam folder and confirm the address was entered correctly.

Password reset: if you forget your password, use the reset link on the sign-in page. You'll receive an email with a secure link to set a new password. Reset links are time-limited for security; request a fresh one if it expires.

Services & Checkout

Beyond the free database and assistant, Peppy offers paid services for people building a peptide business, found under Services in the navigation.

Business in a Box is a turnkey package for launching a peptide business. Website Creation builds a compliant storefront for you. The Launch Checklist is a free, step-by-step guide to the milestones of starting up.

Paid services are purchased through Stripe, a secure third-party payment processor. At checkout you're taken to a Stripe-hosted payment page; Peppy never stores your full card details. After a successful payment you're returned to the platform and your purchase is activated.

Data Dictionary — Peptide Record Schema

Each peptide in the database is stored as a structured record. The fields below define the schema and explain how to interpret each one.

Note. The Peppy platform and its peptide data are provided for research and educational purposes only and do not constitute medical advice. Field values reflect published research and may be incomplete for newer or less-studied peptides.
